   The character
    type object is an
   enumeration type object with at least one literal character among its
   enumeration literals. 
  
   Syntax:
  
   Type character is an enumeration type with all acceptable characters 
   listed. Its specificatio can be found in the STANDARD package. 
  
   Description
  
   The CHARACTER type is a predefined type declared in the STANDARD 
   package and the values of this type are the 256 characters of the ISO 
   8859-1 (Latin 1). 
  
   The set of predefined operations for the CHARACTER type contains all 
   relational functions: "=", "/=", "<',
